Nifty

Honestly feels more like Trip-hop with a brush drum set. Nice to listen to though.

Cheers :)

Mmmmmmmmm

Hmm....tasty idm break core in my head. Touching sections of my brain I didn't even know I had.

Nice man :)

Cutting-Christ responds:

Thank you so much. :)

Happy face

Remember folks...in the world of music bass lines and chord progressions cannot be copyrighted. So steal away ;)

Very very fun to listen. Love the secondary dominant turn around. Love the melody...love the beat.

Man...I love you...marry me...right now.

Wait...I got off track.

Moving on, great song. Keep it up.

Or4nges responds:

At least buy me dinner first ;D

LOL Jokes aside, glad you loved it man!

You get a 5

Whilst I'm always a fan of "Humanizing" things...the lead saw synth was a little too off, quantize it a tinnnnnyyyy bit in the A section and it will be much better.
I almost think it'd sound better as a real guitar. Let me know if you want that ;)

Other than that a pretty fun song. Keep it up.

xyulie responds:

my comp had a latency thing going on with my midi keyboard. i'll go back and quantize and do a better mix on it (sounds like shit in my car).

Sausage.

Intro was nice, although I'm not a fan of the patch you used for the piano.
The voice sample fit well and everything came together.
I just felt as though you could really build up into a serious DnB track with it.
Do some panning, higher quality samples, etc.

Other than that, good job.
Keep an eye on my page for new music ;)

Will do, chief. And thanks for the words.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh

Uhmm....Homicidal retribution by dying fetus.
Almost the exact same...
Care to explain?

Different key. Different riff. Different tuning. Different song layout. Different Drums. Different genre.

Apparently if we go up the bridge in a diminished scale it's a rip-off? I think not.

Yup

Very nice chord structure.
Good use of half note jumps and utilizing what the ear wants to hear.

I enjoyed it.
Maybe add a little popcorn synth arp with some delay for a melody. this could be some amazing Space Ambient.
I loved it.

Thanks for the review and information :)

Hmmm

I like it.
A few guitar farts as I like to call them.
But as far as ambient goes, it was enjoyable.

Just fix those farts, and maybe don't loop as much.

Boux responds:

gotta love those farts, thanks for the review.

Nice

I like it.
Makes me happy when I listen to it.
;)

dj-KDUB responds:

haha. awesome. thanks a lot for reviewing this man. I really appreciate it. I decided i'd take a break from dnb/breakcore. its not really my style. plus a whole bunch of people were complaining that my songs were too repetitive, so i decided to make a song that focused primarily on a strong melody. anyway, glad you liked it man.

I have a few songs i've been working on that i might use to make my first album. you should check them out if you liked this.

Cake

So much dissonance....
Dissonance can be good if it is used well.
But in this case the slight arp doesn't work well with the piano.
I also felt that something should be going on FX wise while the breaks were going.
Try looping more breaks behind the break.
LAYERS ARE YOUR FRIEND.

Cebster responds:

hmm damn you didn't think it worked? ha ha yeah man i guess i better find time to mix that up a bit haha. yeah and defiantly agree with you on the fx part the main score/ synth's is totally undeveloped. so layers are like mutiple instruments playing the same thing right to give it more of that authentic feel?
