So much dissonance....
Dissonance can be good if it is used well.
But in this case the slight arp doesn't work well with the piano.
I also felt that something should be going on FX wise while the breaks were going.
Try looping more breaks behind the break.
LAYERS ARE YOUR FRIEND.

hmm damn you didn't think it worked? ha ha yeah man i guess i better find time to mix that up a bit haha. yeah and defiantly agree with you on the fx part the main score/ synth's is totally undeveloped. so layers are like mutiple instruments playing the same thing right to give it more of that authentic feel?

Pretty good attempt I'll say.
Add more layering man, instead of having that one drum kit, layer multiple Frequencies of snares and kicks and hi-hats.
And please...USE A REESE BASS.

Alright. I'll try that!

Very good.
The progression is very well established.
Good use of dynamics and voicings.
Lots of emotion.
Hope to hear more =)

Those Rhodes are amazing!
Seriously.
This was one tiny step under amazing.
I think if you do some panning, and a few fills here and there to keep it interesting.
Also put the bass down the tiniest bit, enough to let everything else shine, but not enough to take away from the low end.
This was an awesome song, really.

Yeah, I definitely need to work on mixing in general, as well as throwing a little more variety in the mix.
Thanks for the comments!

This is a really good idea for a song.
You need to turn the main gated synth down a lot. Its overpowering everything else, and clipping. Take a tiny bit off the attack.
Thats a beautiful pad you have in there to.
And Turn the drums up =)

Doesn't really sound like acid to me, but I love it anyway.
You are definatly skilled with the automation and melody side of music.
Great job,

When I first made this song it was titled acid rush and it suited the name very well, but I changed it a bunch and didn't think about changing the name.
Thanks for the review glad you liked it.

Very good composing going on here.
The only thing I would suggest to you, is that your drums feel sepperated from the song.
So try to put a sub bass in there. Not a loud one, but a low sub bass so that the frequencies tie together.
After that this song will be pretty fscking amazing.
Great job.

I'll think about the changes, for now I want to make something sound really live.

I really liked this song.
The instruments didn't fit perfectly, but that can be fixed easily.
It would truly be an honor if I could do my own rendition of this.
If you wouldn't mind, lemme have the chord progressions ^^
If not I perfectly understand, its your work.
And its amazing

Very good job with the transitions.
The ending was very well done.
Try layering a few more snares. the one you have now doesn't have much body to it.
It never got boring for me, which is a very impressive thing to pull off =)
Looking forward to more

Author's Response:
Why thank you good sir!
I didn't think too much about layering snares. Indeed, a problem I had was finding the right type and volume snare for the right section, which I solved only partially. And I'm tired of editing this song, lol. I'll def. keep that idea in mind for next time. <333

I love those bamboo sounding mallets. They really add a certain feel to the song.
You did a great job remixing this.
